| A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM At the Sydney Street Theatre | |
Audiences will delight when Shakespeare's most adored and magical comedy is elaborately reimagined in Harvest Rain's exciting 2008 production.
Whether it's the fairies, Bottom and Peter Quince, the lovers' haps and mishaps or the astonishing poetry, this is a play most of us know in one form or another. A number of stories collide in the woods – young Athenian lovers get into a tangle because of the war between the King and Queen of the Fairies, and a troop of actors prepare a show for the upcoming nuptials of the Athenian King and Amazonian Queen.
